Did you know fear can actually show up in your home’s clutter pattern?
I’m writing a book about this called Feng Shui Mind. Your home holds many clues as to what you might be feeling in your inner world. If you learn to work with it intentionally, it can change your life in the most magical way. I’m a medical psychologist and Feng Shui master. I’ve put the two together to empower women to overcome the fear that may be holding them back from the life they really want.
One of my favorite authors Elizabeth Gilbert first wrote about fear many years ago and her analogy of going for a drive in the car changed my life. You are allowed to take your fears with you on the drive, but he has to ride in the backseat. Never, under any circumstance is he allowed to drive the car or decide where you go.
Here is the thing. We all feel fear.
Every single person does and if someone tells you they do not , they are lying. The power in fear is the courage to walk through it and transform your life. There is no around fear, only through.
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote this quote about fear. ” In skating over thin ice, our safety is in our speed.” Here, Emerson was eluding to not getting stuck in fear. As with many emotions, the emotion itself is the not the problem. We are meant to feel all emotions. It is when we become stuck in them that we hold ourselves back from the life we want.
Go be courageous and not only look at your fears but send it love at the same time. ( Because you are a badass !) Then, tell it to get in the backseat because you are driving darling, only you.
